Classified School Employee Week 2023

CSEW is a time to recognize the hard work and value of classified professionals with some fun and recognition. The Social Activities Committee is pleased to share the schedule of activities. If you would like to bring something to share at the BBQ Potluck: Sign up.

Let’s celebrate the end of another successful academic year with a group photo! Meet your fellow classified professionals in the Amphitheatre for the first ever and hopefully an annual fun, group picture that is all about classified professionals and the work we do, the students we serve, and our successes in 2022-2023.

Classified Professional of the Year Recognition Event

Join us on Wednesday, May 24th as we celebrate our 2023 Classified Professional of the Year, Alex Spencer. This 5th annual event will be held in-person at 10am in CSS 217. Alex will be recognized by the Classified Senate, CSEA, and the college community. Light refreshments will be served.

Election 2023

It is time to elect the facilitators of the Classified Senate for the new terms July 1, 2023-June 30, 2025:

  1. Election notification will be for 14 calendar days prior to election. Date: May 15th
  2. Nominations will be via SurveyMonkey to classified pros. Nominations will remain open for 10 calendar days. If only one nomination for the position, the single nominee shall be declared elected. Dates: May 30 – June 8
  3. If needed, Voting Ballots via SurveyMonkey will go out to classified pros via email. Election will remain open for 10 calendar days. Election results will be announced by the Election Committee Chair at the subsequent Classified Senate Meeting. Dates: June 9-June 18
